Scalerator® Pledge for Participants
I hereby agree to the following:
1. Ambition to grow. I will focus intensely on growing our business success, taking advantage of all the
resources and growth opportunities I encounter.
2. Scale up objectives. I will relentlessly pursue the growth goal of the greater of $1 million or 25%
increase in sales, whichever is greater, in the coming 12 months.
3. Personal and team attendance. I will personally attend and participate actively in the relevant Scalerator®
workshops.
4. Submissions. I will submit all pre-work by the designated due date.
5. Feedback. I will complete all post-workshop evaluations.
6. Growth communication. I will take the GrowthTalk online course (45-60 minutes of individual work).
7. Teamwork. I will help other Scalerator participants to achieve their growth goals, whether in the
workshops, the Challenges, or in other activities.
8. Ethics, respect and confidentiality. I will behave ethically and respectfully towards Scalerator
participants at all times, avoiding situations and behavior that may be or may even appear to be
disrespectful or unethical, or that may be detrimental to the Scalerator or any of its participants. I will keep
confidential all private company information provided by other Scalerator participants unless they give me
explicit permission to share it.
9. Mutual candor. One element of respect is for me to give candid feedback that might help other Scalerator
participants to grow more rapidly, and I will show respectful but uncompromising candor, and will invite
others to be candid with me. While candidly expressing my own diverse opinions or viewpoints, I will
simultaneously respect and try to learn from others’ diverse views, values, and perspectives.
10. Non-solicitation. Although I recognize that employees have freedom of choice as to where they are
employed, I agree not to solicit any other Scalerator participant to work in my company for six months after
the Scalerator ends, and I agree not to approach other Scalerator companies for employment during the
Scalerator.
11. Scalerator badges. I will accept and display my Scalerator digital certificate after the Scalerator.
12. Giving back and enhancing the ecosystem. I will continually seek out opportunities to enhance the
ecosystem in supporting more and more rapid growth by more and more companies. To support this, I will
accept opportunities or requests to transfer the practical lessons I learn in the Scalerator into the
broader community. I will do my best to serve as an informal Scale Up ambassador to help more and
more local companies grow more and more rapidly, in a manner that is appropriate to me and my company.
13. Referrals. I will do my best to refer other companies to future Scalerators.
